SHREK The Musical Deadline for submission is JULY 12th Requirements are below-- VERY IMPORTANT!!!! FOR SHREK -DO NOT PUT ANY LETTERING ON THE ARTWORK WE MUST USE LOGO FROM DREAMWORKS. Submit your best picture representing SHREK, THE MUSICAL Artwork must be submitted on 8½”x 11” (MUST BE PORTRAIT ORIENTATION-if it is LANDSCAPE we will not be able to consider it) plain paper or card stock (please do not mount artwork, or use mattes.) You can use any media: i.e. paint, crayons, markers, pencils, etc. Please no photography, 3-dimensional items, or anything attached to artwork. Artwork may be black & white or color. Please do not sign the front of your artwork! Complete the submission form below and tape to the back of your artwork. (If selected, we will have you will add your signature to the front. ) Artwork will not be returned, unless you arrange to pick it up after Sept 15th. Entries may be mailed to our address below, or submitted in person at the studio during summer camp hours 9-4 Mon-Friday June 17th thur July 12th Winning design will become property of New Day Children’s Theatre and wil used and/or adapted for all promotional materials (show poster, tickets, and programs) original art from winning design will be framed and kept on display in the New Day studio. DINE TO DONATE
Come show your support for the arts! New Day Children's Theatre will partner with Perkins of Collierville for our first "Dine to Donate" fundraiser. Anytime you dine at Perkins of Collierville mention New Day and they will donate 10% of your guest check back to NDCT. The more we eat the more we make! Perkins will generously donate the proceeds to NDCT to allow us to continue to provide quality programming to the children of our community. Perkins Restaurant is located at 960 W. THIRD FRIDAY:THEATRE GAMES Theatre Games will be June 21 Every Third Friday 6:00-8:00 pm No reservations needed AGES 4-10 We will offer age appropriate theatre games for our younger friends. They will learn about stage presence, creative movement and working with their peers. Our director will be Jennifer Daniels. Cost $10 per child.

Proceeds from the plates no matter your passion, go to the Tennessee Arts Commission to continue to further the ARTS in our great state. The State of Tennessee offers more than 90 specialty license plates for Tennessee motorists to display on their registered motor vehicles. These plates represent colleges and universities, branches of the military, special interest organizations, professional organizations and other topics. |
Come join us for this exciting new opportunity made possible with help from a grant from the Collierville Community Fund. ![]() We are forming The PAGE ROBBINS PLAYERS, a group of 10-12 students ages 5-18. Students will rehearse 2 days a week for 8-10 weeks and then perform at Page Robbins Adult Day Care at 3:00pm-4:00pm the afternoon of March 28th, June 27th and October 3rd.
There will be auditions each quarter and a new group of players for each performance. This allow more students to participate throughout the program and it will not require a year long commitment from any one student. Each performance will have a different theme and will include music and poetry. There will be no cost to students who participate. First Session Details: Rodgers and Hammerstein AUDITIONS: Wednesday, February 20th, 6:pm-8pm at New Day Studio Cast needs are 10-12 students - equal boys and girls if possible. Must be available from 3:00pm-4:00pm on March 28th for performance at Page Robbins. Rehearsals will be Wednesdays and Fridays 6:00pm-7:30pm Any potential conflicts must be discussed with Ms. Lisa at auditions AUDITION PREPARATION: No preparation needed-we will learn a song at auditions We are so excited about this opportunity for New Day to share our love of theatre with our friends at Page Robbins. |
